We really find out who our friends are when we get to a very hard spot in our lives.

Have you ever really needed a friend or parents help reached out and no one was there? Have you ever needed someone to be there for you counted on them or relied on them only to find out that when you need them most they are no where to be found? Of course you have, and so have I as it happens all the time. You are always giving, outgoing, sacrificing your time and energy only to reach out and have no one there reaching back.

What do you do when you find yourself in this spot? There is only one answer, “trust God.” Look within yourself and find that small still voice and listen! Go back into your memory to times when you were good and remember what was going on; grab hold of that. See yourself and your circumstances for what they truly are, and use that inner strength and inner voice to motivate you forward! You can rely on God, good orderly direction, or if you have a personal relationship with your higher power or Jesus Christ, you can always fall back on that and that small still voice (the Holy Spirit). Direction will come.

Remember, at times we are not going to like the direction that we are taken in, but we are taken to those places because we need to learn something. It always hurts getting sections of yourself cut off, but it is necessary for to grow or progress into being everything we can, and should be.

So, if you find yourself alone, scared or unhappy look to your inner voice and keep seeking heart, mind and the light that is within you because that will never let you down.
