Stephen Shafer, L.P.C.
Stephen Shafer is the clinical director and lead counselor of Alpha & Omega Counseling Center. He received his Masters of Science as a Rehabilitation Therapist and graduated top of his class from the University of Scranton. He is also a Board Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Board Certified Rehabilitation Therapist and belongs to the American Counseling Association, PA Rehabilitation Association and National Rehabilitation Association.
He and his wife, Terry, of 40+ years live in the quiet town of Greentown, Pennsylvania, and have three kids who are all adults and have children of their own. He dedicated his heart to God in 2005, opened up Alpha & Omega Counseling Center in 2007 and has been helping patients ever since.
Paulina Cardella has her Bachelors in Psychology in Applied Behavioral Analysis and a Masters in Psychology with a concentration in addictions counseling. She is also a member of American Counseling Association. Paulina is specialized in marriage counseling, mental health, addictions, PTSD and ASD related challenges, and teen therapy. She has a true passion for helping people and believes everyone should have a safe and healing place to work through life’s difficulties. Paulina hopes to find hope, joy and humor and a renewed enthusiasm for life while providing therapy to her clients.
Claire is the front face of our company; she is also our medical coding and billing specialist. She has
worked for Alpha & Omega since January of 2021. Claire is very dedicated to working with you and
your family to provide all information about our services and your scheduling needs as well as
contacting insurance companies, for her client care is an important priority.
